What is important when choosing an embroidery scheme?
Every embroiderer is always hesitant when buying schemes, there are many manufacturers, each with his own vision of design, printing methods and understanding of "quality". When choosing a scheme for beadwork, we recommend to pay attention to:
- clarity of elements that are not sewn (faces, backgrounds, faces), their brightness and clarity;
- the presence of interlining on the reverse side of the scheme;
- the presence of characters on the multicolor scheme (if the scheme is 10 red, pay attention to the clarity of printing);
- indentations on the edges, after embroidery, any picture or icon should be framed (a sufficient amount of fabric on each side is required for tension);
- edge treatment (overlock or thermoknife), if the scheme is cut just with scissors, the fabric will "crumble", it adds inconvenience.
